AUTHOR'S POV
Sara could feel someone trying to wake her up so she blinked her eyes open and looked to her right to find Silas staring down at her.
Slowly, she looked down before realizing he was laying beside her. His hand was supporting his head and he was smiling down at her.
“ What. Are. You. Doing? ” Raising her eyebrows, Sara croaked out and pushed herself to sit.
Looking around, she sighed. Did he really carry her to the room when she was sleeping? She sighed again.
“ We are landing in half an hour. We need to go back to the seats and buckle up. ” Silas informed her before getting up and leaving her alone.
Sara narrowed her eyes and glared at his back until he disappeared.
Inhaling deeply, she got up too and strolled to the door before going to the bathroom to fix herself up.
Fixing her hair and clothes, Sara came out and took her seat far away from Silas who laughed out seeing her struggling to stay away from him.
She was wo childlish. What did she even think he could do to her if she sat close to him?
*********
The plane landed and a car was waiting for them to drive them to their destination. Sara was too out of her mind to focus on anything but the change of atmosphere was pleasant.
Light breeze swayed her hair as they reached their resort. Stepping out of the car, Sara inhaled the salty fresh air and an unconscious smile lit up her lips.
This felt good. Being away from everything and everyone...felt good sometimes.
If she didn't have so much to think about, she might have been happy being here.
Shaking her head, she pushed all those thoughts aside and let the staff lead her and Silas to their resort which was as expected water floating.
Fear made her nauseous but what could she do about it? If she tried to leave or even decided to stay in a different room from Silas's, Grandfather would come to know about it and she couldn't afford to make him mad right now. She had to win his favor, not the other way around.
Sara was taking in the small hut. Just one bedroom with attached bath and a small living room. A door opened from the bedroom that lead to a small ramp which ended in the sea. A similiar door was in the living room too.
The floor was swaying lightly which made her feel like she was on some boat instead of a room of a resort.
Sara was practicing extreme control right now. She was trying not to run away or pass out given that she was shit scared. Despite being afraid, she held her ground and didn't let the fear show on her face.
“ Thank you. ” Silas was talking to the porter right now.
After a moment, Sara heard the door opening and then closing. She heaved a heavy breath knowing she was left all alone with Silas now.
“ Are you hungry? ” An unexpected question was asked by Silas who was standing right behind her.
She could sense him standimg behind her which pushed her to take a step forward to maintain her distance.
“ I want to sleep. ” An easy escape. She planned to sleep, sleep and sleep some more to spend the time here.
A: It will save her from Silas
B: She wouldn't feel so scared all the time.
Without waiting for his answer, Sara turned around and walked towards her luggage to change her clothes and then go to sleep.
Silas didn't stop her even if he knew what she was doing. They had alot of time at hand, he didn't need to push her too much for such small things.
