Aiden POV

‘Already? I’m on my way.’ I said.

“I have to go back, Thalia is being prepped for delivery.” I said. “If you want to stay the night, you are welcome to. Isaiah can get everyone set up. I have to go now.”

“Of course, go be with your mate.” Edgar said.

Isaiah slaps my shoulder, “Get the fuck outta here. I will handle everything here.”

My nerves are getting to me as I jump in the car and speed back to the hospital. Thalia and I haven’t even finished picking out names yet. We have been so busy with everything going on that we kept talking about it and never got around to it.

As soon as I get to the hospital, I run inside and I hear Thalia screaming. I come into the room and Dad looks relieved.

“You made it. I’m taking your mom to the waiting room. You need to be here with your mate.” Dad said.

“I got this. Thanks mom and dad.” I said.

They both left the room and I rush to Thalia’s side. “Mojito, you are doing great.” I said.

She screams as another contraction hits. “The drugs didn’t last nearly long enough!” She said, struggling to speak.

“It’s okay. You got this. You are strong and smart and you have gone through way worse than this, mojito.” I said.

Raul looks at Thalia, “Thalia, on the next contraction, chin in your chest and push with everything you have.” He said.

She nodded her head and I gripped her hand, pushing all the strength Leon and I can muster.

“Push now, Thalia.” Raul said.

Thalia pushes down and screams loudly. “Good baby. You are doing so good.” I said, kissing the top of her head.

“Again, Thalia.” Raul says and this time I hold Thalia and help her push. She screams again but this time Raul smiles. “I see the head. One more time and your first daughter will be born, sobrina.”

She pushes one more time and then I see Raul holding my first daughter. “It’s a girl. Congratulations!” He said as our daughter is crying. She has a set of lungs on her too.

I am holding on to Thalia and staring at this little pup my mate brought into this world. Shock, pride and love are the three emotions I feel immediately.

“Okay, sobrina. We need to do this one more time. It will be quicker this time.” Raul said, snapping me back into the present.

“Mojito, you got this, one more time, okay?” I said.

She is tired and I feel it. I push every bit of strength I can through the mate bond and helped her push two more times and our second daughter is born. I have tears in my eyes and I kiss Thalia on the top of her head, her forehead and then her lips.

“I love you so much, baby. You are so amazing.” I said as the nurses bring our daughters to us. “Look how beautiful they are. They look like you.” I said.

“I love you, Aiden. We are parents now.” She said with a tired smile.

One of our girls starts crying and we both don’t know what to do. “You should start nursing, Luna.” A nurse said with a smile. “Congratulations to you both!”

We were clumsy, but we figured everything out and then I went out to get my folks and found Rory, Jonah, Isaiah and Damaro with them. I smiled widely.

“They are perfect.” I said.

Rory and mom are jumping up and down with excitement. Isaiah, Damaro and Jonah hugged me, followed by my dad, “Get ready to never sleep again, son. Congratulations.”
