Thalia POV
There has been a lot happening within the last few days since coming back to the pack house. First, our daughters are playing the shift game, a lot. Rosario is definitely more talkative than Teagan. Teagan only likes to talk if she has something to say, not just for the sake of talking like Rosario. Clearly, these two will have very interesting personalities when they get older. I wonder if they will remember all of these conversations. I don’t remember being a baby or the things I did.
I also received a call from Sinclair that Kaia needs her help, and she is now delayed another week. I feel terrible for Isaiah. He didn’t look happy until he found out he was getting both their numbers. Then his face lit up with hope. Aiden and I spoke about it later. We both have our guesses on who it will be, but we are waiting for the final answer. Call it a bet if you will, but I certainly hope I win.
‘I am hoping I win too, Tiger. I plan on wearing you out if I do.’ Aiden said in the mind link, clearly listening to my thoughts again.
‘Who says I won’t wear you out, guapo?’
‘And you were worried I wouldn’t want you. I can already see how we are going to end up with nine, little tiger.’ He smirked in the link.
I could feel myself blushing. ‘Me too.’ I admitted and then found him in his office.
“Planning on using me for my body right now, mojito?” He smirked when he saw me walk in.
“Very soon.” I said. “But first, I want to talk about Heath.”
“Yeah. We do. That meeting rubbed me the wrong way.” He said.
“Me too.” I said. “He really wasn’t a fan of me being in the office with you. I think he held back conversations and negotiations because of me.”
“Then he can go fuck himself on fuck off mountain.” Aiden said seriously, making me chuckle.
"Listen, I know that we are not necessarily fans of his, however, we may need that tool. Perhaps you can try again and this time I will remove myself from the conversation. See if you can get somewhere with him.” I suggested as I sat on Aiden’s lap suggestively. It earned me a low and appreciative growl and I smirked.
“You should be a part of the conversation though, mojito. Especially since you are the chosen one to end this coming war.” He said, kissing my neck and pulling me closer to him. A small whimper escapes my mouth, and I feel him smile against my neck.
“That’s not the hill to die on, Aiden.” I said breathy and needy. “We shouldn’t fight everything head on. Let’s be strategic about this.”
“Maybe we could go to his pack and ask for a demonstration of some of his more unique inventions.” He said, his voice was husky and hands moving under my shirt. There was a time that would have made me close up and become terrified. Now, I would miss it if he didn’t touch me this way anymore.
