Rodrigo POV
Come on. Come on. Pick up. I thought to myself.
“Rodrigo?” Thalia said, answering the call on the third ring.
“Hermana. I need help.” I said whispering.
“What’s wrong, Rodrigo?” She asked, clearly worried.
I took a deep breath and whispered, “Julian is trying to set me up. He is throwing women left and right at me. I overheard him just now. He is planning to blackmail me. I don’t know what to do to stop him.”
Aiden takes over the call. “Rodrigo, listen to me. Do not go with any of the women. Say an emergency came up at the ports and leave. Then get to the airstrip. I have a private jet there. I will call ahead and get the personnel ready. Get to Blackstone. I will call Isaiah and he will come to get you. Lay low for a while, we will be back soon to regroup.”
“Thank you, Aiden. I will get there in the hour.” I whispered and hung up the call. I came out of the bathroom and put on a calm face and smiled.
“Are you feeling, okay? You were in there for a minute.” Julian asked.
I put my hands in my pocket and then tried to look apologetic. “Yeah, everything is fine. I have to get to the ports though. Apparently, there is a surprise inspection and my attendance is required. I have to go. I hope we can continue this another time.” I said.
“Of course. Do what you need. Do you want one of my men to accompany you?” Julian asked.
I smiled, “Nah. It’s an inspector. No threats. I appreciate the offer though.”
One of the women, Julian has been throwing at me stands up and saunters her curves at me in a very seductive way. “Will I see you tomorrow, Rodrigo?” She purred.
“I think that can be arranged.” I lied. “How about lunch tomorrow?”
“That sounds wonderful.” She said with her eyes bright.
“I’ll swing by around noon. Sound good?”
“I’ll be waiting.”
I said goodbye and prayed I did enough for them not to suspect anything. Then I headed to the airstrip with nothing more than the clothes on my back and a small bag that contains everything electronic about the ports.
I got to the airstrip and there is the jet Aiden got ready. As soon as I am on the plane, I relax. I’ll be out of here soon and I will lay low like Aiden said.

Sinclair POV
I’m one hour from the pack. I am happy to come back. I can do the rest of my research there and try to find my family. I want to know where I come from. Hopefully, I will find out.
My phone rings, and it’s Isaiah.
