“Is it Lily?”

The commotion outside grew louder as a group of nurses and doctors rushed forward, wheeling a stretcher into the emergency room. With just a quick glance, Michael and the others recognized the person being brought in–it was Lily.

The group stayed in the hallway, waiting anxiously.

“The patient has suffered damage to a major artery and has lost a significant amount of blood. A blood transfusion is urgently needed,” a nurse explained.

“We’ve confirmed the blood type–O positive. The blood bank has been notified and is preparing the supply.”

As more members of the production crew arrived, Michael noticed several strangers lurking nearby, whispering among themselves.

“I heard they just brought in a famous celebrity.”

“Really?”

“Who is it?”

“There were too many people crowding around earlier, so I couldn’t see. But I heard it’s a really famous actress. No idea who, though.”

“I saw so much blood on the ground when the stretcher passed by. It was everywhere. I don’t know if she’ll make it.”

The murmurs grew louder, filling the hallway.

Michael turned to Thomas and said, “Reporters will be here soon. We need to leave before they arrive.”

The producer and the director’s assistant both nodded in agreement.

“We’ll stay here. You two should go,” they assured him.

Thomas glanced at the operating room before giving a slight nod.

As he and Seraphina walked toward the elevator, a nurse’s urgent voice echoed down the hallway:

“Does anyone here have O–positive blood? The blood bank’s supply is insufficient, and the patient urgently needs more!”

Seraphina stopped in her tracks.

“What’s wrong?” Thomas asked.

“I’m O–positive,” she replied.

Saving a life couldn’t wait. Seraphina immediately turned back, and Thomas followed without hesitation.

Michael grabbed his arm. “You’re not O–positive. What are you going back for?”

“I’m not leaving Seraphina alone. We came together, so I’m staying with her,” Thomas said firmly, brushing Michael off and matching Seraphina’s pace.

Michael was left fuming in the hallway.

“This guy… absolutely whipped,” he muttered, exasperated.

The crew members standing nearby exchanged awkward glances.

“I’m not O–positive,” said Mr. Reid.

“Me neither.” someone added.

“I don’t even know my blood type.”

“Same here.”

The nurse looked around at the group, finding no one who matched the needed blood type.

Just then, Seraphina stepped forward. “I’m O–positive.”

The nurse’s eyes lit up. She gestured for Seraphina and three others who were unsure of their blood types to follow her. “Come with me for testing,” she instructed.
