A few of them instantly started gushing over how gorgeous Benjamin’s kid was.

The more they talked, the darker Mia’s face got-she looked absolutely furious.

Someone shut up real quick. Others started coaxing Mia instead, “Come on, Mia, don’t be mad. So what if Benjamin has a kid? Freya is amazing-she’s not short of men, Benjamin’s just one guy.”

“Yeah! Freya can have any man she wants. No need to be pissed.”

Everyone thought Mia was mad because Freya had lost a marriage prospect. Only Aaron glanced at her thoughtfully.

The little rich-kid squad hadn’t even kicked off today’s fun party yet.

Over at the Graham Residence, Amelia stared at Nina’s round little tummy and was this close to calling a doctor.

Nina had barely touched her breakfast.

Amelia wanted to take her to get checked, but she was scared she was overreacting.

“Nina, does your tummy feel yucky?” Amelia gently rubbed the little belly and asked softly.

Nina shook her head vigorously, chubby finger pointing at the door. “Go out!”

She was still obsessed with going outside to play.

Amelia shook her head, totally helpless. The kid had been begging all morning, so Amelia thought about it and finally took her out.

Nina was super serious about goodbyes.

She gave William a big smooch, waved bye-bye to Benjamin, and only then let Amelia carry her out the door.

Amelia had a blue backpack on her back and a huge bag in her hand.

The blue backpack was stuffed with Nina’s stuff. The big bag held Aaron’s present.

On the way, Amelia video-called Megan.

Nina had been yawning the second she got in the car, but the moment Megan’s call came through, boom— instant energy.

“Megan!”

Megan replied excitedly, “Oh, my baby Nina! Do you miss me? Quick, let me see my Nina baby!”

They were being all lovey-dovey on the video call.

Megan grinned. “I bought you more toys! Nina, whatever you want, just tell me.

The second Megan said that, Nina started shaking her head, eyes blinking like crazy.

“Nina no want! Megan, you tired!”

Nina’s words made Megan suddenly feel a surge of energy, like she could go back and wash another round of dishes right then and there to earn more money.

Seeing the two of them chatting endlessly while Nina kept blinking. Amelia finally took the phone away.

Amelia cut them off, “Stop talking to her. She keeps blinking. Last time she did this, it was from watching too many cartoons. No idea what’s up this time.”

She didn’t chat much longer with Megan either. “Megan, relax, I’ll definitely deliver your gift. Once we’re there, I’ll call you again so you can get a good look at Aaron.

“Gotta go, the second I hold the phone. Nina tries to grab it.”

Megan said. “Alright, alright! Talk later!”

After hanging up, Amelia put her phone away.

Without the phone in sight, Nina finally calmed down.

The car rolled forward.

Nina drifted toward sleep several times. She sat in her car seat with half-closed eyes, her round little body swaying side to side.

Seeing this, Amelia asked, “Nina, do you want to nap?”

Even though her eyelids looked too heavy to lift, Nina still shook her head. “Nina no sleep.”

“Alright,” Amelia said.

She had hoped Nina would nap a bit, but the ride soon came to an end.

Once she stepped out of the car, Amelia snapped a photo and sent it to Megan.

She texted, “We’ve arrived! These villas look ridiculously expensive! If he worked here, the pay would probably be great. Don’t worry about it.”

Megan replied, “Can you even get inside a place like that? Maybe wait for him outside.”

Amelia sent a sad emoji, “I don’t think I can. Then I’ll wait for him here. When he comes out, I’ll take him to eat. I just landed a new role, so I’ve got income!”

Megan replied with a heart emoji, “You really love me!”

“Of course I do!” Amelia wrote back.

While they chatted, Amelia set Nina down on the ground.

The little one tugged her mom’s clothes and tilted her head. “Mommy, go in?”

Amelia patted her head and said, “Nina, we’ll wait outside.”

But Nina was still too young and too energetic. She could never stay still.

When the little boy saw Nina, he lit up instantly.

“Nina! Why are you here?!” he asked.

The little boy said eagerly right away, “Come on! Sit in my car. Whoever you’re looking for, I’ll take you!”
